Compare the 2019 and 2020 Model Years of the Mercedes-Benz GLC
Difference Between the 2019 vs 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLC
For a luxury brand like Mercedes-Benz, it’s not good enough to just create one amazing vehicle. That vehicle needs to continue developing and improving as technologies and design preferences change over time.
One of the more popular SUV options from Mercedes-Benz is the Mercedes-Benz GLC. Let’s take a look at some of the aspects that are different between the 2019 vs 2020 variations of the Mercedes-Benz GLC.
Design Updates for the 2020 GLC
The design features for the GLC make up some of the biggest changes for the new model year. The grille in particular sees a significant upgrade through the use of what is called a diamond-block design on the AMG® line. Drivers also have some new wheel and upholstery choices available to them.
Tech and Infotainment Upgrades
The 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLC comes standard with the latest infotainment technology from Mercedes-Benz, known as the Mercedes-Benz User Experience, or MBUX. MBUX is paired with a 10.25-inch touch screen that can also be controlled using voice functionality. This includes navigation directions with real-time traffic information.
Safety is another area where the 2020 model shines in regard to high tech equipment. Semi-autonomous capabilities now allow the GLC to change lanes when the turn signal is activated or automatically slow down when necessary.
Another feature we are excited about is Vehicle Exit Warning. You’ve probably seen tech that watches your blind spot while driving on the road, but Vehicle Exit Warning can also watch for pedestrians or bicyclists who may be coming by as you prepare to open your door.
