Trailering capacities of the Mercedes-Benz GLC and GLC Coupe
2019 Mercedes-Benz GLC towing capability
Just because you’re driving a luxury vehicle, doesn’t mean that hauling is out of the picture. If you want a real luxury SUV and you want to be able to tow too, then consider the 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLC towing capability. We’ll tell you all about it.
How much can the 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLC tow?
Standard, the 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLC can boast of a maximum towing capability of 3,500 pounds. This goes for the GLC 300 with both rear-wheel drive and 4MATIC® all-wheel drive.* That same capability is also delivered by the AMG® GLC 43. However, things get more interesting when it comes to the AMG® GLC 63 which can tow up to 4,850 pounds.
How much can the 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe tow?
The GLC also has a coupe variant, which still has four doors but also has a sleeker roofline. All GLC Coupe models offer the same maximum towing capability when properly equipped at 3,500 pounds just like much of the GLC SUV lineup. This means you still have enough capability to handle most small trailering loads.
How much cargo room does the 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLC coupe have?
Understandably, the GLC Coupe is a little bit smaller than the GLC SUV. Behind the second row, you can still fit 17.6 cubic-feet of cargo though. The second row folds down here as well and can give you up to 49.4 cubic-feet of cargo room. This is still plenty to play around with and it makes the GLC Coupe almost as capable as the GLC SUV.
